Step 1: validate VPS baseline

  2. Overview: confirm target instance.
  3. Monitoring: check for immediate resource saturation.
  4. VPS Management: run a controlled reboot test if needed.

Step 2: networking and access

Steps

  1. IP Address service: attach required IPv4/IPv6.
  2. SSH Proxy IPv4: set a suitable external SSH port.
  3. Firewall: only allow required ports.

Step 3: publication

Steps

  1. WebGate service: add your domain.
  2. Confirm DNS resolves to the expected target.
  3. Validate rule state and backend availability.

Tips

  • If traffic fluctuates, move to load balancing next.
