Guide: publish a domain with WebGate

Step-by-step setup

Steps

  1. Go to Services -> WebGate -> Add domain.
  2. Select target VPS.
  3. Enter exact domain name.
  4. Submit and confirm it appears in registered domains.

  • Sample domain: api.mysite.tld
  • Sample backend target: your main application VPS

DNS and traffic checks

Steps

  1. Update DNS records toward expected target.
  2. Wait for DNS propagation.
  3. Test both HTTP and HTTPS.

Concrete example

Example: you publish admin.example.tld for an internal admin panel.

You add the domain in WebGate, then update DNS to the expected target.

Once reachable, you validate uptime and application logs.
